Spokane Valley Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant - Tuesday - Friday Near Spokane, WA

We have an immediate opening due to maternity leave.

Our growing and newly renovated practice has an excellent opportunity for a full or part-time dental assistant looking to utilize their skills in a friendly, collaborative, and patient-focused environment and with a team who is passionate about dentistry and about each other. Our team has been together a long time and values hard work, teamwork, and dedication to our patients in a supportive and drama-free environment.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of dental assisting experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Open Dental is helpful.
  • Experience with Cerec, periodontal and oral surgery assisting, implant placement, and endondontics is helpful.
  • A love of learning new skills and techniques
  • A “can do” approach and a strong commitment to set and exceed expectations.
  • Confidence working in a fast paced and patient-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship building skills combined with the ability to educate and consult and present patient treatment needs and plans.
  • Ability to increase new patient growth by supporting marketing and promotional programs.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in both treatment and documentation.
  • Ability to be flexible with changes in schedule and addition of treatment to better serve our patients.
  • Setup and breakdown of operatory
  • Strict adherence to infection control guidelines
  • Patient education and post-operative instructions
  • Various other office duties as assigned

Our clinical team averages 17 years with the practice, our patients are like our second family, and we treat them as such.

Our hours are 7am-5pm Monday - Wednesday, 7am-4pm Thursday & Friday.
