Location: Silver Spring, MD, 20904
The Parts Counter is responsible for assisting customers with their parts needs, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their parts needs, including identifying the correct parts and providing pricing information
- Process parts orders and returns
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies
- Ensure that the parts department is clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering customer questions and resolving customer complaints
- Collaborate with other departments, including service and sales, to ensure that customer needs are met
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a parts department or related field
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and inventory management software
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
