Job Description: Parts Counter
Location: Silver Spring, MD, 20904
The Parts Counter is responsible for assisting customers with their parts needs, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with their parts needs, including identifying the correct parts and providing pricing information
  • Process parts orders and returns
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies
  • Ensure that the parts department is clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Provide excellent customer service, including answering customer questions and resolving customer complaints
  • Collaborate with other departments, including service and sales, to ensure that customer needs are met
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a parts department or related field
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
