Job description Spot On Veterinary Hospital & Hotel, Stamford & Westport CT We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Social Media, Marketing and Event Coordinator to join our Veterinary Hospital & Pet Hotels located in Stamford CT and Westport CT. You will be responsible for creating content (photo & video) and graphic designs for social media campaigns, email marketing and creating in person events. The successful candidate will be a team player, have a great attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multitask, love capturing compelling photo and video, and be willing to pitch in where needed. Responsibilities:
Working on site at our Stamford and Westport locations taking photos, videos and creating content for social media.
Developing, planning & scheduling social media content plans that are consistent with the company's brand identity.
Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
Using analytical tools to monitor and evaluate the company's social media presence and performance.
Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
Drafting e-newsletters
Attending in person events such as in facility day care parties, exterior marketing events, and marketing campaigns at local apartment complexes
Performing other duties when needed.
Requirements:
1 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a business, corporate, or agency setting or a portfolio of work commensurate with such experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
Excellent photo & video skills.
Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok for business.
Experience with graphic design programs such as Canva.
Experience using social media planning software such as Planoly.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
