Spotify is Hiring an Associate Manager, Strategic Client Partnerships Near New York, NY
This is a great opportunity to join Spotify’s growing Strategic Client Partnership Team! We are looking for a Business Development candidate who will serve as a key resource to the BD team within the Ads BD Business Unit. The role will support Spotify’s most strategic advertising clients. In this role, you’ll help craft the future of Spotify’s advertising business by identifying, evaluating and operationalizing business growth opportunities and support prospecting. The role is a unique opportunity to deeply immerse oneself in the advertising side of the music and audio streaming industry supporting partner development and deal negotiations with Providers, Agencies and Brands across all major verticals. You will help Spotify scale & optimize our global advertising business identifying unique alignments and opportunities for growth between Spotify and the brands who we partner with globally. The position will report into the Associate Director, Strategic Client Partnerships. What You'll Do:
Support strategic planning projects and processes by developing multi-year strategic plans to grow our existing businesses
Identify and develop plans for new business opportunities
Build data-driven, scenario-based models to evaluate the business impact of all types of strategic and business development initiatives (e.g., new business models, partnerships, etc.)
Design succinct and impactful presentations and memos
Develop a deep understanding of the advertising landscape, including trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment
Support BD leads in relation to their negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners.
Support the implementation of partnership initiatives, ensuring successful execution and alignment with business objectives.
Who You Are:
You have a minimum of 4 years of work experience
You have at least 2 years of experience in top management consulting firm or corporate strategy or business development role
You have experience in tech, media or advertising industries, preferably in strategy, business ops or corporate/business development role
You are passionate and knowledgeable about media and entertainment business and relevant business models
You are strategic and creative problem solver with ability to transform goals into useful plans
You have experience supporting strategy projects and developing implementation plans
You comfortably maintain balance between attention to detail and swift execution
You like getting into the details and solving complex problems
You have experience building sophisticated, multi-year business plan models
You are an excellent written and verbal communicator
You are able to network and develop deep relationships across the organization

We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the EST time zone as long as we have a work location.
The United States base range for this position is $138,270 - $197,529 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave.
