SUMMARY Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach, part-time position. Spring Arbor University is a member of the Crossroads League and holds national membership with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) . The following is the mission statement of the University athletic program: The Spring Arbor University Athletic Department seeks to use competitive sports to develop within our student-athletes a depth of faith, strength of character, and skills of leadership essential for a lifetime of service to Jesus Christ. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Instruct student athletes during practice sessions and competitions.
Conduct individual instruction and workouts outside of organized practice sessions.
Responsible for the reserve program training and organization.
Schedule reserve games, conduct travel plans for away reserve games.
Assist with running the Men’s Soccer social media accounts
Help disciple athletes in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Other duties as assigned by proper personnel

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Assists with the supervision of student workers to meet the needs of the department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must be able to work with peers and students.
Must be willing to maintain flexible schedule.
Ability to prioritize, complete multiple tasks & possess good interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
Club or Collegiate coaching experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required.
