The Procurement Specialist reporting to the Sr. Manager of Procurement will focus on building vendor relationships, time management, and negotiation skills. These efforts aim to ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, ultimately contributing to the company’s financial health and operational performance.What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Support market research and cost analysis to ensure spending efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams to understand procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues.
- Prepare and present procurement reports.
- Timely completion of procurement request within stated SLAs.
- Support cost savings targets.
- Working knowledge of Google Office Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.)
- High satisfaction levels from internal customers.
- Efficient resolution of procurement issues.
- Experience developing creative solutions to complex problems
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Working knowledge of Google Office Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.)
- Proficient in Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
