Immediate opening for Bilingual Collision Center Customer Service Representative

Lewis Collision Center a family-owned state of the art collision repair facility has been serving the Northwest Arkansas area for over 77 years.

Job brief

We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced, bilingual Customer Service Representative. The Customer Service Representative is the first person a customer sees when they enter the Collision Center. They are responsible for providing administrative support to body shop operations. This position is a Full-Time hourly position. $14 - $18 per hour based on experience.

Essential Duties

  • Greet all customers upon arrival, qualify the customer and vehicle and determine their specific needs
  • Answers incoming phone calls in a polite professional manner. Directs caller to appropriate department or individual or takes a thorough message
  • Based on customer input, assure their understanding of the collision repair and claims process
  • Open repair orders for vehicles coming into the body shop for repairs. Obtain necessary customer information to begin the process of damage appraisal and repair
  • Receives cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and records the amounts received
  • Maintain contact with the customer during the repair and inform them of anticipated delivery status changes
  • Closes repair orders on the computer system in a timely manner
  • Files repair orders
  • Reconciles cash drawer daily, as directed by the accounting office
  • Follows up on body shop accounts receivable to maintain satisfactory levels of payment.
  • Help to resolve customer concerns
  • Assisting body shop manager as necessary
  • Maintains a professional appearance and work environment
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bilingual preferred
  • Strong Interpersonal skill
  • Knowledge of sales and customer service
  • Well Organized
