Valid and appropriate elementary teaching certificate/license from the State of Ohio is required.
Record of good attendance and strong work ethic.
Evidence of good moral character as established in section 3301-20-01 of the Ohio Administrative Code
Knowledge of state competency models and learner outcomes associated with Ohio Assessments.
Proven ability to deliver evidence-based interventions at a high level.
Willingness to meet the needs of all students.
Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Ability to use technology for data collection.
Willingness to participate in future training.
Willingness to follow assigned work schedule.
Willingness to work in school-sponsored and school-related activities.
Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to promote student achievement.
Knowledge of the Science of Reading and implications for intervention(s).

General Description: Under the direction of the Principal and Assistant Superintendent, this position is responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions aligned to the district MTSS Framework in an elementary setting. The Interventionist provides individual or small group instruction to at-risk students. This position is also responsible for monitoring, reporting, and communicating student progress and performance.
