Job Title: Elementary Homeroom Teacher (Temporary; Non-Renew)

Reports to: Principal, Virtual Learning
Teacher cannot be under contract full-time in a school district to be available for employment.
GENERAL PURPOSE
The Elementary Educator (Temporary Non Renew) - will be primarily responsible for providing support to the instructional program with specific responsibility for facilitating learning and skills within an virtual elementary classroom; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; supervising students; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
This position requires live synchronous instruction during regular contract hours each day. This position is for the 2024-2025 school year and is temporary; non-renew.

This position will deliver and provide support to the instructional program with specific responsibility for developing student success in academics and/or skills; supervising students in online settings; collaborating with teachers, professional staff and administrators to deliver curriculum and course work; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students’ parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress. Launch teachers are expected to be positive promoters of online learning opportunities to internal and external stakeholders.
