Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing administration and leadership within healthcare settings, particularly in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Duties:
- Oversee the nursing staff and operations to ensure high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Manage nursing schedules and shift assignments
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitor and evaluate nursing services to maintain compliance with regulations
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Proven experience in nursing administration, preferably in acute care or assisted living settings
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medical terminology, and physiology
- Previous experience in nurse management and leadership roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
