## Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care and support to patients with mental health disorders. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives in a psychiatric setting.

## Duties
- Administer psychiatric medications and monitor their effects
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Provide therapeutic interventions and emotional support to patients
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options

## Requirements
- Valid RN license with psychiatric certification or experience
- Strong understanding of psychiatric medications and treatments
- Ability to ventilate, dialyze, phlebotomize, suture, and perform ostomy care
- Experience in long-term care or travel nursing is a plus
- Familiarity with operating room (OR) procedures
- Proficiency in Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $62.26 - $64.89 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
