SPS Commerce is growing- We are adding a Senior Consultant or Consultant II to our Partner team. The Senior Consultant/Consultant II will provide consulting services in the way of technical expertise to clients and end users in the form of EDI software implementation, technical support, training and documentation. This position will focus on EDI Implementations with the Acumatica Cloud ERP - but will also include EDI Implementations with additional ERP software packages. As Senior Consultant/Consultant II on the Customer Account Management - Add-on team, you will collaborate with various internal stakeholders while building, maintaining and retaining relationships with existing customers.

This is a hybrid role based out of our MN office.

Day-to-Day

As a Senior Consultant/Consultant II you will execute installation, upgrades, testing, and system configuration as part of completing implementation projects. You will exceed customer expectations by clearly understanding the clients’ business model, the partner resources and limitations, and the value added by the SPS components.

• Perform post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products
• Conduct complex work important to the organization
• Work under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment
• May consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, and to understand clients' business objectives and goals
• Track progress of implementation project(s). Ensure deadlines are met and scheduling issues resolved
• Keep customer and other stakeholders informed of project progress
• Possess and maintain a high level of industry-specific business knowledge by remaining current with emerging products and technical updates
• Work within Acumatica ERP to implement EDI software adaptor
• Work with and learn additional ERP software packages as directed to support EDI implementation and an expanding product line
• Assist clients, through advisory services like business process reviews, in streamlining and automating EDI processes, and how these processes may be integrated into the rest of the business
• Train clients on the setup, configuration, and use of EDI software
• Design and Test various artifacts that accompany EDI implementations including labels, packing slips, and reports
• Assist clients in managing job expectations and timeline requirements
• Effectively present information and respond to groups of managers as well as provide training for client’s personnel
• Prioritize and manage many EDI projects concurrently to ensure full utilization

Education and Experience

Consultant II

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience
• Prior ERP, SaaS, EDI, integration, implementation and/or configuration experience

Senior Consultant

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree and 3 years related experience
• Minimum 3 years of account management, relationship management, product management or related experience
• Prior exposure to 3rd parties, consultants, VARs, and adapter or application providers desired
• Prior ERP, SaaS, EDI, integration, implementation and/or configuration experience

Preferred Experience

• Experience with SQL queries and writing scripts
• Familiarity with file formats- XML, CSV, etc.
• Familiarity with ERP implementation or customization projects
• Acumatica Cloud ERP
