Spyglass Talent Solutions is a retained search firm based in Raleigh, NC. Our firm has been retained by Commercial Drywall, Acoustical and Flooring Contractor to conduct a search for a Commercial Flooring Estimator.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Commercial Flooring Estimator will be responsible for overseeing the estimating of all flooring projects for the company. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in estimating, excellent communication skills, great attention to detail and the ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities include:

· Gather and analyze all plans, addendums, and specs per project.

· Generate RFI’s as needed and incorporate responses into the estimate.

· Communicate regularly with sales and project management teams to ensure the success of the project.

· Utilize estimating software (Measure Square) to provide accurate and efficient material estimates.

· Provide detailed plans, notes and quantitative take off to sales for pricing.

· Verify plans are to date and to scale.

· Participate and project handoff meetings with sales and operations prior to starting the project.

· Prioritize time to make sure all deadlines are met.

· Conduct site visits to verify measurement and look at existing conditions.

· Participate in meetings with production and sales regarding current and future projects.

Skills and Experience:

· Strong knowledge of construction processes and best practices.

· Excellent estimating skills, including the ability to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

· Time management skills.

· Proficiency in estimating software and tools (Measure Square).

· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
