Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Radiation Safety Officer at SQS NDT, LP in Odessa, TX. The Radiation Safety Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of radiation safety, including dosimetry, radioactive materials handling, radiation safety protocols. The Radiation Safety Officer will ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Dosimetry, Radiation, and Radioactive Materials knowledge
• Experience in radiation safety protocols and procedures
• Proficiency in radiation monitoring
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergencies
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices
• Previous experience as a Radiation Safety Officer is a plus
