As the Chief Systems Engineer at SRT, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert in SIGNIT/Cyber/EW and will be responsible for ensuring the technical performance of programs, along with ensuring budget and schedule adherence. You will lead in owning the technical performance and risk of development and production programs, partnering with program management to balance cost and schedule. Additionally, you will deliver on financial commitments, grow programs to increase long-range plan value, and establish and manage product vision, strategy, and goals. This role involves developing and maintaining product roadmaps, supporting annual proposal and IRAD planning, and ensuring technical integrity and engineering execution across programs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead in owning technical performance and risk of development and production programs.
• Deliver on financial commitments and grow programs to increase long-range plan value.
• Establish and manage product vision, strategy, and goals.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps.
• Support annual proposal and IRAD planning.
• Develop product requirements and perform requirements maintenance through system engineering practices.
• Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution across programs.
• Interact with senior customer counterparts, internal senior program management, and engineering leadership as the primary technical point of contact.
• Lead and support the capture of new business and influence technical and product line roadmaps, proposals and ensuring they are reflected in program planning and execution.
• Plan and lead the incremental development of upgrades and system improvements.
• Engage with major subcontractors and partners to ensure product deliverables.
• Support internal and external outreach.
• Indirectly supervise 5 employees within the SRT department(s).
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of related experience or Master’s Degree and 10 years of related experience; additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Proficient in Development Software, Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Software
• Advanced knowledge of wireless technology
• Advanced knowledge of SIGINT/Cyber/EW systems
• Advanced knowledge of Digital Signal Processing
• Advanced knowledge of Firmware/Embedded Signal Processing
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Systems Engineering Certification
