About the job:

The Senior Strategist is highly curious, collaborative and a strong digital/social leader who has a passion for discovering new ways to plan and execute innovative campaigns.

The Senior Strategist provides consumer insights and strategy development across many brands and projects simultaneously and meets business/brand goals. They know how to bring ideas to life, how to build trust with clients, how to talk to people/win them over and how to distill complex information so it’s easily understood.

The SRW Senior Strategist partners with internal teams across creative, public relations, influencer marketing, media and client services. They have a strong understanding of paid media and create digital-first marketing plans from soup to nuts, including digital media recommendations, budget recommendations, and KPIs to hold all strategy work accountable. They are always ready to create and present POVs that clearly demonstrate strategic thinking, generate enthusiasm for the work, and position the agency as a creative thought leader in the healthy food and better-for-you space.

About You:

• You are a self-starter and skilled multi-tasker
• You possess an unrivaled proactiveness and hustle
• You’re a skilled communicator, both verbally and in writing
• You are experienced in managing and navigating relationships, assignments and day-to-day challenges in a fast-paced environment
• You have proven experience in strategic planning and mentoring/coaching junior strategists
• You are highly curious about consumer behavior, insights and trends, and can inspire creatives through compelling, yet concise, creative briefs
• You are a Social Media black belt - expert user of organic social media AND social ad platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. You know how each platform’s content and ads should differ to adhere to best practices for each.
• You have a comprehensive understanding of digital technology and terminology (has managed SEO audits, website builds, etc.)
• You have working knowledge of goals and tactics for display, search and programmatic media
• You stay current on the latest technology, functionality and integrations to serve as a go-to resource for the client and internal team, alike
• You identify new strategies and business opportunities for existing clients and new business pitches

• A degree in journalism, marketing, communications, English or related fields
• 5 years agency and/or client-side marketing experience; paid media experience highly desired
• Digital marketing strategy experience in a client-facing role required
• CPG experience preferred
• Demonstrated writing skills are a bonus

Senior Strategist salary ranges from $80,000 to $95,000 based on relevant work experience.
