SSC - Nashville is Hiring a File Clerk - Customer Service (In Office) Near Franklin, TN
**The Applicant needs to be a Notary** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Listen to voicemails from all facilities and distribute to team as necessary for follow-up
Print and retrieve daily correspondence to sort for collections and customer service teams
Retrieve return mail for all facilities and process updated addresses for patient's accounts
Print return address labels for all facilities as needed for team
Work supply list for customer service team weekly and retrieve needed supplies
Receive incoming medical records requests through correspondence and send to the facilities through BARRT
Receive and process incoming itemized billing requests from patients
Receive and process incoming itemized billing requests from attorneys, complete and notarize documents and return to requestor in a time sensitive manner
Work shared customer service email for faxed requests, correspondence and items faxed to team members and distribute accordingly
Work shared patient concerns email and distribute all patient concerns to team members to be worked
Receive affidavits weekly from PASI to be forwarded to facilities for approval, print copy of itemized bill and forward to manager for review and signature once approved
Receive affidavits from three other secondary agencies, print copy of itemized bill and forward to manager for review and signature
Notarize and return all documents to PASI and secondary agencies once approved by manager
Work itemized statement research requests from secondary agencies
Process bad debt disputes from secondary agencies through BARRT
Receive missing payment requests through shared email and process a research request through BARRT
Sort and scan daily correspondence from the team and scan in to the shared drive at the end of the day and file accordingly
Other duties may be assigned
