SSC Signs & Lighting, LLC is a national design, fabrication and installation sign company headquartered in DFW, Texas. We currently have an opening for an experienced Construction Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities
• Identify and mitigate risks which may impact successful delivery of projects
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for successful execution of projects
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Develop a detailed project plan and schedule to monitor and track project process
• Manage the relationship with the client and your internal team
• Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget
• Managing delivery of the project according to plan
• Tracking project and providing regular reports on status to project team and key stakeholders
• Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Work with interdepartmental personnel to ensure successful implementation and completion of projects
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Organize and submit necessary documentation for close out of projects

Requirements:

• Five years of construction management experience
• PMP preferred but not required if candidate has the necessary experience
• Demonstrated customer relationship skills, building trust, negotiating, advising
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to read and understand architectural plans and signage production designs.
• Strong efficiency with all Microsoft Office products (advanced Excel highly preferred)
