Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dental Treatment Coordinator. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and exceptional patient service in a dental setting. This can be a full-time or part time position.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and check-in patients at the front desk, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment

- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar

- Coordinate treatment plans and financial arrangements with patients

- Explain treatment options, procedures, and costs to patients

- Obtain necessary patient information and update electronic dental records systems

- Process insurance claims and verify insurance coverage

- Collect payments from patients and provide accurate financial statements

- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a dental receptionist, medical receptionist, or in an administrative role is preferred

- Knowledge of medical/dental terminology is highly desirable

- Proficiency in using electronic medical or dental records systems or good computer skills is a plus

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and financial transactions
