IT Technician

(Remote, Part-Time)

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Dealership and Fleet Sales Manager to join our team on the West Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for problem resolution.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Installing and configuring hardware and software components.
• Provide remote and on-site server/workstation/laptop technical support.
• Assist team in monitoring ticketing queue and support requests.
• Configure, deploy, and relocate desktops, laptops, printers, and any other related devices.
• Identify, report, and respond to potential cybersecurity threats.
• Open and follow up with tech support from vendors such as ISP, consultants, etc.
• Computer & Printer repair
• Network wiring
• Hard drive reset
• Software install/uninstall
• Virus cleanup & removal
• Data backup & transfer

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical employees
• Certifications such as A / Network / Microsoft are preferred but not required
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to interact with other techs and users
• Possess strong time management & analytical skills
• Able to follow written & oral instructions. Report regularly to management
• 1 year of experience in IT or a related field with strong background in operating systems, IT components, hardware/software support, and desktop/laptop
• 1 year of user support to provide efficient one-on-one customer technical training
• Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN/WiFi networks and network technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
• Great documentation skills
• Valid Driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• The position will require regular visits to our San Diego, CA location and less frequent visits to our Los Angeles, CA locations

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, rack equipment

Schedule: Part Time Day Shift, Monday to Friday as Needed (Evenings or weekends as needed for emergencies or projects)

Ability to Commute to: San Diego, CA area Los Angeles, CA area Up to 10% other travel
