An ideal candidate should be a highly motivated quick learner with strong backgrounds in molecular & cellular biology and biochemistry. Experience with pipetting, perform tissue culture, and familiarity with pharmacology (curve fitting) would be a plus.

MS Preferred or Bachelors in life science with some lab experience. An ideal candidate should be a highly motivated quick learner with strong backgrounds in molecular & cellular biology and biochemistry. Experience with pipetting, perform tissue culture, and familiarity with pharmacology (curve fitting) would be a plus, but are not strictly required.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Daily activity will vary day-to-day but in scope activities include:
1. Routine execution of MedChem Work Bench (MCWB) biochemical and cell-based assays.
2. Routine execution of siRNA screening by RT-qPCR.
3. Analyze data in Genedata Screener under senior staff’s supervision and report the data to the assay data warehouse.
4. Update project teams with assay results.
5. Order, prepare, and/or maintain reagents and consumables needed to perform MCWB assays.
6. Maintain cell lines to support genome editing, assay development and assay deliveries.
