Job Title: Lead Sourcing / Costing Manager

Location: Beaverton, OR 97005

Responsibilities:

• As an integral part of the Material Costing team, you will be the lead facilitating Costing capabilities for new palette materials, creating and maintaining ongoing tools, and executing cost consolidation programs for maximum ROI.
• You will be responsible for translating raw materials market data into negotiation targets, creating negotiation and costing strategies, conducting cost execution with key suppliers, tracking seasonal development cost progress, and capturing value through operational reporting.
• You will need to unlock aggregated volume across similar materials to expand multi-source capabilities while improving finish goods COGs margins.
• You will work closely with Materials Costing leadership while driving a critical x-functional partnership with Material Sourcing, Partner/Materials Management, Operations, Finance and Global Business Planning teams.
• You will connect with Material Developers, Designers, Chemical Engineers, Suppliers, and Factory Partners to understand product excellence requirements, manufacturing processes, and associated sustainability initiatives.
• In your role, you will serve as an integral contact for multi-source costing levers, 3PL providers, material trends, strategies and metrics.

Experience/Minimum Requirements:

• Looking for 6 plus years industry. This role would be specific to having materials or product supply chain experience, preferably with a clothing brand or other industries that use textiles like furniture.
• Depth of experience negotiating with material suppliers will be needed.
• Background in supply chain, finance, or material development is helpful
• Need to have financial analysis capabilities, being able to digest and draw decisions from large amounts of data. Role will be negotiating and wrangling data that is not in client’s regular systems. If someone can bring data analytics, and negotiation, that would be a huge plus
• Software used: Excel, Alteryx, required, Python is a plus but not necessary.
