SSL.com is Hiring a Sr. Account Executive Near Houston, TX

We are looking for a cybersecurity and cloud signing Account Executive to join our growing team. As an integral part of an organization that plays a significant role in shaping internet security, you will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions and engage with industry leaders. The right person feels comfortable prospecting opportunities and reaching out to new contacts. The person in this role loves researching a prospect’s market, needs and requirements in order to present a relevant solution.

SSL.com is a publicly trusted certificate authority and trust services provider. The digital certificate products in our suite of services include SSL/TLS, email security, code signing, document/object signing, client authentication, and custom public key infrastructure (PKI) solutions.

We regularly interact with browser and signing services companies such as: Google, Mozilla, Microsoft, Adobe, and others as well as count some of the largest tech companies in the world as customers.

Skills we are looking for include: 

  •  Minimum of 3 years in enterprise Software, SaaS, Cybersecurity or Technology Sales or equivalent experience in support, client services, fulfillment, or other customer-facing roles at a technology company
  • A track record of meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual goals
  • Experience with sales automation, drip campaigns and other more advanced sales techniques
  • Proven ability to prospect, engage and convert customers as well as develop existing customers
  • An independent contributor capable of managing the entire sales lifecycle independently
  • Strong technical acumen and remote communication skills such as web conferencing
  • Understands requirements gathering, adept at uncovering a prospect's pain points and relishes in providing tailored technology solutions
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and popular CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Must be familiar with team productivity software such as Slack or similar enterprise messengers like Jira, Confluence, and Trello

Nice to have (preferred) 

  • Experience with Public Key Infrastructure, Digital Signature Services, Cloud Services, Certificate Authorities, IAM / user access management or related technologies a big plus
  • Cloud services certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or similar.
  • Familiarity with software engineering methodologies such as DevOps, CI/CD and Agile
  • Cybersecurity certification such as CompTIA, CISSP or similar
  • Existing relationships with technology, cybersecurity and software procurement managers
