Description
Position Summary:
Work following the guidelines developed and set forth by the Director of Golf Operations to ensure all members have a great experience on the golf course.
Qualifications
Essential Responsibilities:

• Assure that the proper pace of play is maintained throughout all rounds
• Create daily Tee sheets that coordinate with all golf events
• Responsible for providing rounds report each month
• Attend all weekly Staff meetings, Tournament Activity Meetings, Special Operations meetings, and Daily Line-ups.

• Coordinates and regulates Daily Play with requirements and directives issued by the Director of Golf/HGP Course Maintenance.
• Works directly with the Head Starter and Bag Room Supervisor to ensure Members get the best possible service.
• Orders and coordinates supplies under the guidelines and budgets set up by the Director of Golf Operations and under the specific direction of the Head Professional.
• Responsible for all Starting Functions under the policies and procedures set up and developed by the Rules of the Club and/ or the Director of Golf/HGP.

• The starter must know all club rules about golf.
• Individuals must be detail-oriented and highly service-oriented.
• Additionally, they must have a basic knowledge of golf and the equipment used to play the game.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talk or hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit. Ability to stand up for extended periods of up to 8 10 hours.
• The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Education & Work Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma and or G.E.D.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of the game of golf

Education & Work Experience Requirements:

• Must be a highly service-oriented individual with knowledge of the game.
• Additionally, must know basic computer functions

Compensation:

• Salary is commensurate with experience.

This is a part-time position eligible for the Part-Time benefit package such as:
