- Plan and lead group activities
- Keep daily records documenting resident participation
- Transport residents to and from activity programs and group outings
- Visit residents on a one-to-one basis as directed by Activities Director for the purpose of providing: friendly visitor, sensory stimulation, reality orientation, validation therapy, individual instruction or specific leisure pursuits and/or a means of meeting individual needs as outlined in each residents Activity Plan of Care
- Record and/or maintain a written record of resident’s response and/or progress with specific approaches utilized
- Responsible for general housekeeping duties in activity areas
- Recognize abnormal signs and symptoms which signify a physical change in condition that would require nursing intervention
- Must be alert for conditions that may interfere with the well being and safety of residents involved in activity pursuits
