Job Description
St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Wilmington, DE is seeking a part-time (20 hours / week) Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE).
Primary responsibility for coordination and oversight of the traditional parish religious education program, and sacramental preparation.
Secondary responsibility for general support of Faith Formation events and programs.
Minimum required qualifications will include :
Practicing Roman Catholic, active in the parish faith community
Five years of experience in parish religious education or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in theology or religious education preferred.
Ongoing formation in Religious Education and Faith Formation required.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and technological skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Motivated, self-starter, able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Able to work independently and in a multicultural environment.
