Make a difference in the lives of patients as a Nurse Clinician in the Neuroscience/Spine Unit!

In this role you will be assisting the unit staff, Supervisor, Core Charge Nurses, Educator, and Department Director in skills and knowledge related to nursing practice, patient advocacy, staff education, and policies/procedures to achieve an environment of excellence in clinical quality, safety, service, and value. Schedule

• Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud Hospital
• Days | Monday – Friday | 8am-4:30pm

Qualifications

• BSN or higher required
• Current Minnesota RN license required
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in related nursing field
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider care required
• National Certification in a Neuroscience or leadership field required within 2 years
• Demonstrated performance improvement skills including leadership, problem solving, communication, organization and goal setting.

The Neuroscience/Spine Unit is a 45-bed unit consisting of 8 Neuro Progressive Care Unit beds and 37 general neuroscience patient rooms. We treat patients who have had Neurosurgical, Neuro-interventional, and Neuro-medical diseases and disorders. In addition, we serve stroke, seizure, multiple trauma, and traumatic brain injury patients. Awarded certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center based on our strong commitment to provide evidence-based, quality stroke care.
