In this role you will be assisting the unit staff, Supervisor, Core Charge Nurses, Educator, and Department Director in skills and knowledge related to nursing practice, patient advocacy, staff education, and policies/procedures to achieve an environment of excellence in clinical quality, safety, service, and value. The Neuroscience/Spine Unit is a 45-bed unit consisting of 8 Neuro Progressive Care Unit beds and 37 general neuroscience patient rooms. We treat patients who have had Neurosurgical, Neuro-interventional, and Neuro-medical diseases and disorders. In addition, we serve stroke, seizure, multiple trauma, and traumatic brain injury patients. Awarded certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center based on our strong commitment to provide evidence-based, quality stroke care.
