Job Summary
Day/EveningShift 8a-430p
Works collaboratively with hospital staff to provide a safe environment for our stakeholders. Proactively addresses and deescalates tense situations and/or conflict. Responds to requests for security assistance and works with law enforcement as needed. Enforces hospital security policies and procedures. Investigates incidents and prepares written reports. The primary role and responsibility is to serve as the hospitals emergency First Responder.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 2 years required - prior law enforcement, Military, and/or Corrections preferred
- Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
- Licensure: Certification required - LA POST Firearms Qualifications and Physical Readiness Assessment (PRA)
- Special skills: Effective Communication; Customer Service; Attention to detail
