St Francis Ministries is Hiring a Clinical Program Director Near Cincinnati, OH

Direction and supervision to the clinical services of Ohio In-Home Services and Family Centered Treatment Program. The Director of Clinical Services provides direction and supervision to the clinical services of Ohio In-Home Services. The Director is responsible for maintaining complete program health (program health= financial health team health community health) for Ohio.

Oversight FCT teams:

  • Behavior Health
  • Clinical Treatment Planning
  • Clinical staffing for complex case
  • Family Therapy Models
  • Family Centered Treatment FCT) EBP compliance
  • Clinical internship program
  • Responsible for Budget planning and implementation
  • Completion of FCT certification for Level 1, Level 2, Supervisor Level and Level 3 are required for the Director role. These levels must be completed within the first 24 months of hire
  • Supervision of direct reports and their program/responsibility processes
  • Evaluations of employee under direct supervision
  • Ensures an effective on-call process is in place
  • Coordinates and develops partnerships with DHHS, Universities, Judiciary, Region Behavioral Health Care Systems, and other Behavioral Health and community partners to ensure adequate services children and families
  • Provides direct input to processes and procedures for implementation of service contracts that ensure delivery of best practice
  • Works to constantly improve service delivery to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Acts as a change agent and pursues continuous process improvement
  • Participate on grant writing teams as needed
  • Encourages continuous growth & learning in others
  • Communicates effectively
  • Special projects assigned by the VP and RVP of Prevention & In-home services
  • Provides and ensures timely reporting, as required by contracts
  • Participates in committees, coalitions, and initiatives as appropriate for advancing SFCS’s goals and objectives
  • Adheres to the mission and philosophy of Saint Francis Community Services
  • Reports and Assures staff report critical incidents to required agencies verbally within 12 hours, written within 24 hours
  • Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms
  • Reports and Assures staff report unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
  • Ensures clients’ rights are protected
  • Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures
  • Strong knowledge and competency of therapy techniques, in individual, group and family
  • Mandated reporter
  • Trained in child/adolescent development
  • Trained in a trauma informed model of care
  • Must be conversant with the current DSM
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to solve problems and, able and willing to seek consultation when necessary
  • Ability to provide a high-level customer service to staff, clients and providers
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Independent discretion/decision making within the scope and responsibility of the position
  • Manages emotions and can make decisions under pressure
  • Manages stress appropriately and models effective stress management for their team

  • Other duties as assigned
  • Although this role does not require the Director to maintain a full and active caseload, it does require the Director to provide direct care services to families for the purposes of training, coverage for staff or other challenges that may impact program health.
  • Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Addictions Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Counseling from an accredited college or university required.
  • Licensed to practice in State of Ohio at the independent practitioner level or ability to transfer license within 90 days of hire.
  • Five years’ experience at the clinical level with children, adolescents and families
  • Five years’ experience working with the juvenile welfare and justice system preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must pass a drug screen, BCI, FBI, National Sex Offender Registry, State sex offender registry, Child abuse and neglect; Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS)
  • FBI Fingerprint check
  • Lifting Requirement of 30-50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within the state.
  • Demonstrates competence and continues training in age-specific competencies for infant through adult clients.
  • Although this role does not require the Director to maintain a full and active caseload, it does require the Director to provide direct care services to families for the purposes of training, coverage for staff or other challenges that may impact program health.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
