Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Employment Specialist/Career Coach to join our team! As an Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping WorkFirst NJ and senior employment participants find meaningful employment and providing valuable support to our clients on an on-going basis. Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily workshops/group facilitations
• Provided one-on-one assistance to job seekers to assess their skills, experience, and career goals.
• Develop and implement individualized employment plans, including job search strategies, resume writing, and interview coaching.
• Identify and connect clients with suitable job opportunities by networking with employers and researching job listings.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve and develop effective support services.
• Recruitment of participants and event coordination.
• Assign and oversee industry-valued credential attainment.
• Build strong connections with community partners to expand our network of resources.
• Design and deliver engaging program curriculum at various off-site locations.
• Additional job tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as an Employment Specialist or in a related human services role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.

Pay- $20 per hour

Hours- Monday through Friday 8am-4pm

**Background check and fingerprinting required for all employees 18 yrs and older.
