Middle School Math Part-Time Teacher

School Year 2024 - 2025

Certification Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s Degree required
● A current FL Certified - Middle School Math 5 - 9
● Minimum Teaching Experience 3 years Preferred

Curriculum Qualifications:

● Mastery of curriculum and instruction in specialized area
● Has experience teaching middle school aged children
● Has ability to teach Math with hands on activities
● Has ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask as well as being self-motivated
● Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Is able to demonstrate technology skills with Student Information System (SIS), Google

Classroom, and essential learning apps

Assisting students taking FLVS Math or Science with managing workflow and assistance with Algebra1 and geometry Math concepts.

Professional Qualifications:

● Adhere to the Diocese of Palm Beach Code of Conduct with emphasis on confidentiality and ability to exercise discretion and good judgment

● Ability to work independently and make responsible judgment calls
● Excellent analytical and problem solving skills capacity
● Ability to stay focused and organized
● Strong ethical values
● Good classroom management and ability to supervise activities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
