Responsibilities:Responsible to greet patients, activate patient accounts, and navigate patients through a predetermined protocol on a daily basis. Answer calls regarding patient scheduling, inquiries about billing, procedures, policies, and available services. Acts as a liaison between patients and the providers; as well as outside facilities and insurance companies, and facilitates communication between patients and providers, medical staff, and administrative staff. Fosters and delivers customer service and patient access.
Qualifications:High school graduate or equivalency required; college preferred. Knowledgeable in medical health insurances. Basic medical terminology and computer knowledge. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Must have experience with a high volume call center. Minimum 2 years of registration experience within a medical setting (doctors office, hospital). Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) preferred . Must work with a sense of urgency. Strong MS Office (Word, Excel) as well as medical database experience required. Must have valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel throughout Westchester County for business purposes.
