Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives and follows instructions/schedule from the director or laundry assistant in accordance with established laundry services procedures.
• Loads, delivers and collects laundry carts as required to apartment building and Main Center, Pool areas, and Day Programs.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the laundry area is done as required.
• Keeps work areas free of hazardous conditions; for example, spills, excess laundry carts, baskets, supplies, etc., to assure that all established safety rules are followed at all times.
• Follows established procedures for cross-contamination, infectious material, etc. to assure that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times.
