Key Responsibilities: As a vital member of our Housekeeping team, the Housekeeping Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness of our facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Training and ongoing development of newly hired staff
• Providing consistent re-training as needed
• General support for the team, including tasks like collecting linens, garbage disposal, routine cleaning projects, and inventory management
• Ordering supplies and scheduling duties
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements: We're seeking an individual with the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a Long-Term Health setting
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience
• Ability to adhere to facility safety practices and use personal protective equipment
• Capable of self-supervision and effective time management
• Proficient in using housekeeping equipment such as industrial washer, dryer, vacuum, floor buffer, wet vac, etc.
• Direct interaction with residents is required
• Physical capabilities, including walking, climbing stairs, ladder climbing, kneeling, reaching, bending, and lifting (up to 40 lbs or more)
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
