Together, our nine composting facilities process over 1,000,000 cubic yards of green material annually – more than half of all yard waste generated in St. Louis County. In addition to composting yard trimmings gathered by the area’s major waste haulers, we receive, and compost material collected from landscapers and homeowners. We transport and process over 300 tons of organic food waste each week, keeping our landfills free of this organic debris. Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery to continuously process material on-site.
- Perform daily, routine maintenance on equipment, such as lubricating, fueling, cleaning, etc.
- Perform daily pre-trip inspection of equipment, filling out daily maintenance log.
- Collaborate with team members to problem-solve and optimize production processes.
- Foster positive interactions with customers.
- You’ll be given the opportunity to operate a wide range of equipment; from front-end loaders to dozers, excavators, etc.
- Expand your skills and knowledge in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
