Here at Job Corps Saint Louis we take pride in keeping our center clean and functioning! As a custodian not only will you work with a team of fellow maintenance employees; you will also effectively interact with staff and students to ensure a positive custodial experience.
Duties such as scrubbing stripping, waxing, buffing and sweeping are done throughout the days along with collecting trash and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of whatever area you work in. You will also occasionally work outdoors, making sure that the grounds are taken care of by mowing, weeding, sprinkling, and the like.
Above all else, you will ensure the safety of the areas you are in by following proper cleaning and maintenance protocol. All you need to work with us is a high school diploma or equivalent, a basic understanding of cleaning compounds, some custodial experience and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable record!
