St. Louis University - Center for Advanced Dental Education is Hiring a Clinical Supervisor - Orthodontics Near St. Louis, MO

Under general supervision, is responsible for daily operations of the Orthodontic Business office in the Center for Advanced Dental Education (CADE); supervision and training of 3 Patient Coordinators and 1 Billing Representative; maintaining and monitoring patient accounts and records; performing billing and collection duties; interacting with patients/parents with financial and treatment concerns.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing patient processes, including appointments, contract set-up, insurance processing, posting of daily cash transactions and refunds.

Providing treatment fees, financial options and insurance coverage to prospective clients; explaining the clinic procedures involved in beginning treatment.

Assisting clinic and program director with patient assignment, resolutions of parent/patient/resident conflicts, patient treatment and status changes, clinic manuals, clinic charts and other documents.

Posting payments and reconciling daily cash handling procedures and deposit summary.

Processing of Daily and Monthly financial reports.

Reviewing of the Accounts Receivable and follow-up of delinquent accounts.

Direct supervision of Patient Coordinators and Billing Representative.

Organizing patient records and archives to comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) guidelines.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualification:

High School Diploma supplemented with five (5) years of related work experience.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
