Customer Service Representative Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Representative is to provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and should be able to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Interact and engage with customers, respond to inquiries and provide accurate information about our manufacturers' products through phone or email.
- Order entry and solving tickets to take care of the customer's needs.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues by investigating the problem, identifying the root cause, and providing appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively address customer questions and concerns.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by understanding their needs, exceeding expectations, and building long-term relationships.
- Handle and prioritize multiple customer requests, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve escalated customer issues and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Stay up to date with product developments, industry trends, and best practices in customer service.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions and workshops to continuously enhance customer service skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Proven customer support experience or experience in a related role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt to different customer communication styles.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities to address customer concerns effectively.
- Ability to remain calm and maintain professionalism during difficult or challenging customer interactions.
- Prior experience in handling customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively to meet customer service level agreements.
- Proficiency in using customer service programs like ZenDesk or other Customer Service driven software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- High school diploma required
