JOB SUMMARY:St. Luke’s School seeks a full-time 3th grade teacher for the 2024-2025 school year! The ideal candidate will incorporate their pedagogical expertise into their instructional practices, exemplify a commitment to Catholic education, and illustrate a willingness to work as part of a team to uphold our school’s mission. The position is hired by the principal in conjunction with the pastor and reports to the principal. JOB QUALIFICATIONSHold a current RI/MA teaching certificate if applicableBachelor’s degree or advanced degree PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:Have the ability to instruct students in the areas of English Language Arts, Mathematics, Religion, Social Studies, and Science programs, aligned to the appropriate standardsSupport and uphold the school’s mission and teachings of the Catholic Church in word and action Plan for instruction that is differentiated to meet the needs of all learners in the classroom, including students who need support and enrichmentUse effective instructional methods and best practices for the grade levelIncorporate varied assessment tools such as formative and summative assessments Effectively incorporate technology into daily lesson planning as appropriate for the children’s developmental levels.
