St. Mark ELC is looking for a qualified team teachers. We are a high energy, hands on Early Learning Center. The right candidate will possess the following qualities:

• At least 6 months work experience in a professional child care setting with children ranging in age from 12 months to 3 years old
• Ability to be flexible with classroom activities
• Team teaching position - must work well with others
• Reliable - must report every day at scheduled work time and stay until shift is over
• Energetic in the classroom
• Good communication skills with both adults and children
• Available to work 8 hours per day between the hours of 7:30 and 5:00 as determined by Director. Part time positions for afternoon hours only are available (12:30 - 5)

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 21 years of age, have 6 months experience in caring for children 1 year to 4 years old, be able to work 40 scheduled hours per week between the hours of 7:30 am to 5:00 pm which will be set by the director. Must be willing to work with others, caring for small children including feeding, diaper changing, etc. We are an early learning center which means that we have a planned curriculum that teachers are expected to carry out and teach to the children. Must be willing to follow lesson plans. Must be able to pass a background check, get a food handlers permit, and be willing to get a TB skin test at your own expense. Must have reliable transportation and be able to report to work at scheduled time.
