St. Mary Delaware is Hiring a Physical Education Teacher Near Delaware, OH

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Physical Education Teacher/ Safety Coordinator to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. As a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing physical education programs that promote fitness and healthy lifestyles among students, and working with the principal to coordinate safety for the school.

St. Mary's Catholic School's mission is to provide an education that encourages children to encounter Christ and to develop a love of Truth, Beauty and Goodness through both Classical and Montessori pedagogy. We are located in Delaware, OH, a northern suburb of Columbus, OH, and the parish school was founded in 1860. We are a preschool - 8th grade school from diverse backgrounds. Requirements:

  • Hold an appropriate Ohio teaching license (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach
  • Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
  • Have attended or be willing to attend a VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children training
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidate must complete an online teaching application with the Diocese of Columbus
