St Mary's Healthcare System for Children is Hiring a Data and Systems Analyst Near Bayside, NY

The Data and Systems Analyst will plan, implement, support and administer a new Analytics system, business and clinical applications, and identify opportunities to enhance current systems, and implement new solutions. S/he will support varied applications, serving as application administrator and liaison between the users and vendors. Supports Hospital's mission to provide the highest quality care by complying with regulatory guidelines, meeting agency standards, and obtaining appropriate certification.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Implements, supports and enhances IT applications to support and enhance business and clinical operations
  • Plans, implements and supports an Analytics System
  • Identifies opportunities to introduce new application solutions, gathers and documents requirements, leads software selection processes, designs, implements, integrates, tests and trains on new solutions
  • Administers and supports applications through gaining and maintaining a thorough understanding of how the systems are being used and analyzing, communicating, and negotiating the bug management process, including patching and upgrading processes
  • Documents and communicates clearly and timely with stakeholders on project and operational status
  • Ensures processes and systems are compliant with Health System policies, applicable laws and regulatory changes
  • Serves as project manager on small or medium projects and work with Project Managers on larger projects
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
