About This RoleSt. Michael’s is looking to fill a Program Manager (PM) in the Northern Virginia area in support of the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) clients. The candidate will be operations-focused, comfortable briefing senior corporate and government officials, must possess an uncompromising work ethic, and align with St. Michael’s core values of Excellence in Reputation, Candor, Commitment, Teamwork, and Dependability.

Who You Are
- Currently hold an active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility to obtain SCI access
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience as a program manager of DoD, Intelligence Community, or Department of Homeland Security contracts
- General knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) clauses and principles
- Experience with Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or DAWIA Level III Program Management certification is highly desirable. Required to obtain within twelve (12) months of hire date
- Interface/liaise independently, and in a team or collaborative environment, with government and non-government (St. Michael’s and sub-contractors) senior level officials.
- Manage cost, schedule, and performance of assigned contracts in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) clauses
- Fill contract vacancies by overseeing/assisting with program specific recruiting efforts and interviewing qualified candidates to determine best qualified.
- Report on financial and staffing metrics monthly and quarterly to government and St. Michael’s Vice President of Client Experience; Review monthly invoices prior to submission.
- Manage contract deliverable schedules and project control taskers to oversee continuity of operations, ensuring submission as required by the SOW.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop risk mitigation strategies to overcome program risks, and produce program risk reports for management and stakeholders.
- Assist the Business Development team with various proposal efforts, as required.
