Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Guidance Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Christian counseling, child welfare, and mental health counseling. This role involves providing individual and group counseling to children and collaborating with educators to support students' well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and counseling services to students on academic, personal, social, and career development.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students' needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a supportive environment for students.
- Assist in child welfare cases by providing emotional support and resources for families.
- Educate students on behavioral health, coping strategies, and conflict resolution techniques.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, behavior, and mental health concerns.
- Work with children of various age groups in a classroom setting.
Experience:
- Previous experience in Christian counseling or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with childcare practices and child development.
- Strong background in mental health counseling for children and adolescents.
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment and collaborate with educators.
