Description

SUMMARY

Support the production process by performing various tasks that keep operations running smoothly.

· Following standard operating procedures and ensuring conformity to customer specifications.

· Carrying out quality control checks to ensure products meet build and quality standards

· Releasing job orders

· Modifying job orders when inventory needs to be substituted 

· Creating serial numbers

· Overseeing the Issue and receipt of material to and from jobs

· Troubleshooting ERP issues

· Maintaining and creating build instructions for existing and new products 

· Time studying builds to determine resource requirements

· Providing training for assemblers as needed

· Maintaining product specs for sales department including weights, dimensions and battery and kit information

· Assisting assemblers with assembly and packaging of products when needed, including labeling and instruction manuals

· Monitoring floor stock inventory levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished

· Monitoring spare part inventory and raw battery levels based on production needs and notify management when orders need placed

· Collaborating with other members of production team to ensure deadlines are met and goals are achieved

· Assisting with materials management activities such as inventory transfers, inventory issues and receipts for jobs, cycle counts and audits.

· Continuously improving the manufacturing process

· Provide backup assistance with shipping and receiving when needed

· Providing backup assistance for RMA and Tech department when needed

Requirements

· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

· Able to learn company’s ERP system (SAP)

· Able to achieve forklift certification

· Able to use hand tools, power tools and pallet jack
