As a Railcar Maintenance Technician , you will be responsible for maintenance of passenger rail vehicles, and their components, based on specifications stages.
You will ensure that all quality requirements and specifications are met in a timely manner. If you are an experienced mechanic who wants to be part of a team that builds quality, state-of-the art passenger trains, this is the career for you.
Your tasks
- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures
- Perform inspections, based on instructions, to ensure the standards are met
- Maintenance of equipment according to maintenance specifications
- Annotate inventory usage in the performance of periodic maintenance and maintain a clean and safe work area
- Adhere to set deadlines
Your profile
- High school diploma / GED and vocational training in related field
- Mechanical and structural assembly experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
- Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hand tools
- Quick comprehension, with a high standard of quality and attention to detail
- Goal-oriented, flexible, resilient, and responsible, with a structured work ethic
