Staff Agency is Hiring a Personal Lines Account Manager Near Miami, FL
This role is 100% onsite in Miami, FL or Hallandale Beach, FL and P&C insurance experience is required.
Our client is an insurance firm that was founded 40 years ago and based out of South Florida with four locations along the east coast. If you are interested in Commercial Lines, our client is also looking to hire a Commercial Lines Account Manager for either location.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to handle daily new business, renewals, and customer service for our Personal Lines business. Positions are open in our Hallandale Beach (FL) & Miami (FL) offices.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prequalify insurance prospects for insurability and quality of risk.
- Maintain knowledge of carrier and wholesaler appetites and make recommendations during the marketing process.
- Design insurance programs and recommend coverages to clients based on risk characteristics.
- Submit complete and accurate insurance applications and related submission documentation to carriers.
- Assist in sales presentations to prospective and existing clients on new and renewal business.
- Explain coverage and exclusions to clients and document explanations in agency management system.
- Review existing accounts/policies at least annually to round out accounts and address any changes in exposure.
- Evaluate processes and procedures and recommend ways to gain efficiency and better serve our clients.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in Insurance account management.
- Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid Property & Casualty license.
- Knowledge of Applied Epic agency management system is very helpful

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
