Our client, a Design-Build Construction Firm located in Atlanta, is searching for a Development Accountant to join their growing team!

This position will be responsible for all aspects of accounting for a portfolio of multi-family and/ or mixed-use properties.

Responsibilities include month-end close, preparation of monthly financial reports, preparation of monthly construction, renovation, and /or replacement reserve draws to lenders, processing wire transfers, and preparation of year-end audit and tax work papers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 2-5 years of construction or development accounting experience
• Experience with property accounting software and experience with Yardi would be a Big Plus!
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
