Estimator Commercial Construction

Our well-established client has an immediate need for an Estimator with Commercial construction experience.

Duties :

Manage the estimating process from start to finish on multiple concurrent exercises.

Assemble conceptual budgets and various updates during design progression.

Review bid documents to learn the job, invite the needed trades, identify constructability issues, and find conflicting or missing information that needs to be answered or qualified.

Know and verify all bid submission requirements are completed on time.

Collaborate with Operations to develop the project schedule, staffing, and logistic needs.

Develop scope checklists, level bids, and coordinate bid revisions with the subcontractors.

Build estimates capturing all needed costs and assemble final deliverables.

Participate in owner review meetings and presentations.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Three or more years of commercial construction estimating experience.

Knowledge of all types of bid processes, contracts, and negotiations.

Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, or any other Take-off software.

Our client offers a salary of $80k - $110k DOE plus bons and benefits.
