In the role of Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising the daily operations of the accounting department to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines and corporate policies.
• Establishing and upholding internal financial controls and procedures, including documenting the company's internal control systems.
• Conducting job costing, inventory valuations, and inventory allowances in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Assisting in the development of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Participating in the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely completion.
• Utilizing Power BI for financial data analysis and report preparation.
• Collaborating closely with the operations team to manage product and manufacturing costs effectively.
• Assisting in the implementation and management of the company's ERP system.
• Engaging in special projects and providing ad hoc analyses as necessary.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the aerospace or engineering industry.
• Proficiency in GAAP and other relevant accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with job costing, inventory valuations, and inventory allowances.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI and ERP systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
